THE BURLEY PARTNERSHIP is located in the Green Mountains, near Waitsfield, Vermont. This location was a conscious decision by our founders, forty years ago, based on a belief that architectural success was not dependent on being in the midst of a large, urban population, but could be achieved in a healthy, more rural environment that was a good place to live - as well as work.

The decision was fortunate. Our projects have ranged from $50,000 to $50,000,000 in construction value. We have received State and National awards for Design Excellence, our staff benefits from short commutes and easy access to the countryside - and our clients seem to enjoy project meetings in the Mad River Valley. Current information technologies and the internet offer us a level of connectivity - well beyond Vermont - that we could not have imagined when we started.
